CLEARink Wins SID 2019 Display Week 'Public Choice' Award

On May 21, 2019, San Jose, California - CLEARink Displays was honored to announce that they won the "People's Choice Award" award at the recently held Society for Information Display (SID) 2019 Display Week exhibition.

SID announced the winners of its first "Public Choice" award at its 56th International Symposium, Lecture, and Exhibition held in McEnery, San Jose, California, at the 2019 Display Week Exhibition. The award was selected by thousands of attendees, targeting emerging products that will be available in the United States and globally in the coming years.

CLEARink Displays' patented electrophoretic Total internal reflection (eTIR) technology is a revolutionary new display technology with the characteristics of low energy consumption, readability in daylight, color and video playback. The 9.7-inch flat panel display displayed by CLEARink on Display Week targets tablets and PCs for education and other applications. The high contrast and 4096 colors of the tablet perfectly simulate the textbook experience. It can play videos up to 30 fps, not only supporting the playback of educational videos, but also supporting non delay quick page flipping, web browsing, quick notes, and simulating a whiteboard experience on the tablet. Its driving voltage is below 5V, and its energy consumption is extremely low. At the same time, the accuracy of 227dpi can support fine line writing and painting in any language, and can display the exquisite details of maps and images.
