Clear Ink created Autodesk Island in Second Life, consisting of 16 virtual acres that encompassed a meeting place, a multimedia complex, and demonstration areas. We also developed a proprietary tool that allows architects and engineers to import their CAD data into Second Life. As a result, designers could import their drawings, use them as building guides, and facilitate design collaboration. And as estate hosts, Clear Ink managed the process of inviting and hosting Autodesk Island visitors.
